When Eurydice is tragically killed on her wedding day, Orpheus descends into the surreal underworld - reimagined here as the Grand Hotel Hades - to find her, guided by taxi driver Charon, played by Vincent Cassel.
Directed by celebrated theatre director Davide Livermore and Paolo Gep Cucco, and co-produced and opulently styled by Dolce & Gabbana, The Opera! weaves traditional arias together with contemporary music in a cinematic spectacle that blends the grandeur of classic opera with cinema, fashion, and pop culture.
