Join us for BFF26 closing night for the premiere of a timeless, visually stunning, romantic tribute to one of the last community of traditional cowboys and cowgirls, Gaucho Gaucho.

Directed by the maverick duo behind The Truffle Hunters, Michael Dweck and Gregory Kershaw, the film is a heartfelt celebration of a community of Argentine cowboys and cowgirls, known as Gauchos, living beyond the boundaries of the modern world to keep old ranchero traditions alive. They travel on horseback, accompanied by their dogs as they move their cattle through the land. The spectacular handmade clothing they wear, woollen ponchos, bombacha trousers, and boina hats, are signs to the outside world that they will remain forever free, unshackled by the boundaries and bindings of the modern world.

Shot in luminous, mesmerising black & white, Gaucho Gaucho celebrates a proud outsider community suspended in time, floating between the past and present, myth and reality.
