Rose Byrne shines in an inspiring life-affirming dramedy about self-respect and fighting for justice against an indiferrent system.
Amanda Ogle, a once secure and driven professional, now living in her blue 1991 Corolla after losing everything. When her car is first stolen and then impounded, Amanda refuses to pay the whopping amount the company charges to release the car back to her. What begins as a fight to reclaim her car evolves into a deeply human story of resilience and dignity, as she embarks on an uphill legal battle to reclaim her vehicle, but also her dignity, pride and faith in humanity.
Premiering at Tribeca 2025, Tow is an uplifting, compassionate portrayal of homelessness accentuated by Byrne’s powerhouse performance, who spent time with the real Amanda Ogle in preparation for this film based on true events.
"Tow tackles themes of justice, motherhood, and perseverance with emotional depth." Film Forward
